In this group, kids motivate each other to find their voices! We learn strategies to show down, chunk words and phrases, and coordinate speech and breathing.

One of the hardest aspects of stuttering and other fluency challenges is the feeling of "no one else speaks like I do." Working through communication struggles alongside others can be a powerful learning tool. There are several advantages to group therapy, including support, accountability, and peer feedback.

This group integrates peer support, discussion, technique practice, and speaking and breathing activities to help garner confidence and build strong communication skills during play and conversation.

    Specific Activities Include:

    ● Pacing strategies

    ● Breathing and pausing

    ● Intonation and word separation

    ● Exaggerated speech, continuous voicing, and elongating words

    ● Unison and choral speaking
